Chester County Night School Updates! 11/22/2011
This January, Cameron will be teaching his popular Acting for Stage and Screen class during a special winter session with the Chester County Night School at Stetson Middle School in West Chester. The course is 6 weeks, begins January 10th, and runs from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This spring, Cameron will also be teaching more courses with C.C.N.S.! This fall, Cameron will be teaching his popular Acting for Stage and Screen, and How to Make a Great Short Film classes with the Chester County Night School beginning September 27th. Find out more info, and sign up for a class here! Also, Cameron will be on the board of screeners for this years 8th Annual West Chester Film Festival, in beautiful West Chester, PA. Cameron will be one of about a dozen other screeners who watch every film submitted to the festival. Each film then goes through a reviewing process, and the votes of each screener are put together to determine which films are shown at the festival. The film festival will take place in Spring 2012. Cameron has also had the opportunity to work with the people of ThrillSpy Film Festival in Washington D.C.! Cameron served as one of the Screenplay Competition judges, helping select the top three screenplays submitted to the festival. ThrillSpy takes place October 6th - 8th in Washington D.C.'s Penn Quarter. Also this autumn season, Cameron has found the perfect opportunity to express his passion for his favorite holiday - Halloween. He will be an actor inside the terrifying Pennhurst Asylum Haunted Attraction in Spring City, PA. This July, The Barley Sheaf Players of Lionville, PA named Cameron Best Newcomer of the Year, and was given an Excellence in Acting Award for his portrayals as Mike in 'Screwtape' (September 2010) and Henry in 'Life X 3' (May 2011). Cameron thanks all of the wonderful people at the Barley Sheaf Players, and looks forward to working at the theatre again in the future. Cameron is playing the fun-loving, energetic role of Joe, and there are 6 performances remaining. This summer, Cameron will be performing as 'Joe' in 'The Last Sunday in June', by Jonathan Tollins. The play is being produced by Quince Productions of Philadelphia, and opens on August 11th at the Shubin Theatre located at 407 Bainbridge Street in Philadelphia. Summer Camps with Kathy Wickline Casting! 05/24/2011
This summer, Cameron will be teaming up with Kathy Wickline Casting to teach four summer camps for kids! He will be teaching both Little Stars camps at United Sports in Downingtown, as well as The Saturday Club in Wayne. Munson will also be instructor for Acting for the Camera at Agnes Irwin in Rosemont. Click here for details on how to sign your little star up! Tomorrow, Cameron and his talented cast (Jackie Read and Ken Miller) travel to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania to compete at PACTFest 2011! The Pennsylvania Association of Community Theatres holds an annual competition where theatres from all over the state perform one-act plays. If 'Heights' does well this weekend, Cameron and his cast will move on to perform the play at ESTAFest 2011 in Pottstown, PA in mid-April! Cameron's 'How to Make a Great Short Film' class begins on March 15th, with registration going through until the 12th. If you're interested in the class, sign up soon!
